Topical Use:
When diluted with a carrier oil, grapefruit essential oil helps refresh the skin and has antioxidant activity and antibacterial effects which can help in reducing appearance of blemishes and help in acne healing process.

With its high concentration of vitamin C, grapefruit essential oil helps reduce blemishes, dark spots and wrinkles.

This oil is toning and facilitates circulation. It acts as a natural astringent to tighten skin and improve circulation, which can aid in reducing the appearance of cellulite.

It supports also lymphatic flow to improve skin health acting as a detoxifying.

Hair Use:

Grapefruit essential oil promotes hair health by balancing sebum production, removing product buildup, and encouraging hair growth through improved scalp circulation. Rich in antioxidants and vitamins A and C, it strengthens strands, adds shine and volume, and treats dandruff due to its antimicrobial properties. It is best used diluted in a carrier oil or added to shampoo.

Topical:
Dilute 1–2 drops in 1 teaspoon (5 ml) of a carrier oil (jojoba, argan, or sweet almond) before applying to the skin.

Hair:

• Scalp Massage: Mix 4-5 drops of grapefruit oil with 1 tablespoon of carrier oil (like jojoba or coconut oil) and massage into the scalp before shampooing.
• Boost Shampoo: Add a few drops directly into your regular shampoo bottle for a daily deep cleanse.
• Hair Rinse/Mist: Dilute 2-3 drops in water or apple cider vinegar for a refreshing, scalp-balancing spray.

Aromatherapy:
Add 2–4 drops to a diffuser to enjoy its bright, energizing aroma.

Grapefruit essential oil should be diluted before topical use. Avoid contact with eyes and sensitive areas. Phototoxic — avoid direct sunlight or UV exposure for 12–24 hours after topical application. Use with caution during pregnancy or if you have underlying health conditions.
